ASX to rise, oil gains, US stocks edge higher

In a note, LPL Financial said in keeping with the Federal Reserve’s ‘higher for longer’ mantra and the surge in yields it was revising higher its forecast for the US 10-year yield. LPL said it now expects the 10-year Treasury yield will end the year between 4.25 per cent and 4.75 per cent from a previous forecast of 3.25 per cent to 3.75 per cent.
