Another e-commerce roll-up has joined China's enormous e-commerce market. Markai, a Stanford business school graduate-led firm, has entered the competition to acquire Chinese companies seeking foreign consumers. In recent years, so-called brand roll-ups, or e-commerce aggregators, have emerged in Europe and the United States.
