The United States Department of Defense has shared its decision restore the name of its largest military command to the US Pacific Command (USPACOM). Announced on June 16, the move reverses an important change introduced during US President Donald Trump’s first term in office, when the command was redesignated as the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) in 2018.
