US shuts down Myanmar-based crypto scam website targeting Americans

The US Justice Department has seized a web domain tied to a major crypto investment scam run from a scam compound in Burma, officials said. The website, tickmilleas.com, posed as a legitimate trading platform but was part of a wider network defrauding thousands of Americans. Authorities said the operation was based out of the Tai Chang compound – also known as Casino Kosai – in Kyaukhat, a site long associated with organised online fraud.
