Delhi 'yet to confirm' Dhaka request for Muhammad Yunus-PM Modi meet next month

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is learnt to have told a consultative panel of MPs that Bangladesh's request for a meeting between Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC summit next month has not yet been confirmed. At the two-hour meeting Saturday, several Parliamentarians raised concerns over attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and sought details about the steps taken by India, sources said.
