ALMOST three months after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked Switzerland to do so, the Swiss government Thursday announced it proposes to host a conference, at the level of heads of state, that “aims to provide a platform for a high-level dialogue on ways to reach a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine based on international law and the UN Charter”. The proposed dates are June 15 and 16 at the Bürgenstock hotel above Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland.
