US President Donald Trump on Monday said he has accepted an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Beijing in April. The announcement followed what Trump called a very good phone conversation with Xi. The US President said he also invited the Chinese leader for a state visit to Washington later next year. The diplomatic exchange came nearly a month after Trump and Xi held in-person talks in South Korea.
