Apple’s Cook visits Shanghai to ‘double down on China strategy’: Wedbush

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) CEO Tim Cook traveled to China last week as part of a plan to bolster the tech giant’s presence there despite geopolitical tensions, according to Wedbush. Cook was one of several U.S. business leaders meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Apple has also held preliminary discussions with Baidu (BIDU) about using the Chinese company’s generative artificial intelligence tool in its devices in China.
