TikTok not complying with Indonesia’s in-app transactions ban, says minister

An Indonesian cabinet minister said that TikTok is still violating a rule which prohibits in-app transactions, Reuters reported. Last month, ByteDance (BDNCE)- owned TikTok, completed a transaction in which it committed to invest over $1.5B in a joint venture with Indonesia's GoTo Group's unit which it will control. The move would help the Chinese company resume its shopping app service in the country.
