US weaponized global information space – China

CHINA, through its foreign ministry, on Sunday claimed that it was the United States that “invented” how to weaponize the global information space. The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the remark in reaction to the US State Department report claiming that China invested billions of dollars to “spread disinformation globally.” The report said that China seeks to reshape the global information environment to its advantage.
