Taiwan reports second large-scale Chinese incursion into its air defence zone this week

Taiwan’s defence ministry reported that ten Chinese air force aircraft entered it’s air defence zone on Wednesday. These aircrafts were accompanying five Chinese warships that were conducting “combat readiness” patrols. This marks the second intrusion of this kind in the same week. China asserts its claim over Taiwan, considering it as its territory. Over the past three years, Taiwan has repeatedly expressed concerns about the presence of Chinese military activities in close proximity.
