‘India remains Tanzania’s biggest…,’ says MEA S Jaishankar

During his visit to Tanzania, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated that India's bilateral trade with Tanzania in the previous year amounted to USD 6.4 billion. Jaishankar further highlighted that India continues to be the primary market for Tanzanian exports. These statements were made by the minister during his speech at the India-Tanzania Business Conclave. Jaishankar extended his greetings to all the dignitaries on the occasion of Saba Saba Day, a significant day that commemorates the establishment of the Tanzanian political party, TANU, in 1954.
