US launches prosecutions of Chinese companies accused of trafficking fentanyl ingredients

The US Justice Department charged four Chinese firms and eight individuals on Friday with allegedly trafficking the ingredients required to manufacture the highly addictive painkiller fentanyl in the US and Mexico.
