The chief of space operations of the U.S. Space Force Gen. B. Chance Saltzman called on the service to embrace challenges and opportunities created by the rapid commercialization and militarization of the space domain. “I fundamentally believe we are now at the precipice of a new era in space,” Saltzman said April 19 in a keynote speech at the Space Symposium.
