Farcical summit won’t save Biden or democracy

Sounding like a Quaalude Savior, President Biden droned to foreign leaders Wednesday about how he'll rescue world democracy. Suffering from a cold, Biden recited the "inflection point of history" cliché he hustled at the first Summit for Democracy in December 2021. Biden promised that "we're seeing real indicatiors [sic]" that "we are turning the tide" in favor of democracy around the globe. Practically no one not on Biden's payroll agrees.
