The legislature’s Legislative Research Bureau called on authorities to take measures in response to the development of “long COVID-19” in children. Citing data from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the committee said that as much as 10 percent of the 13 million children in the US infected with COVID-19 developed long COVID-19, the bureau said in a report released earlier this month.
