China’s civil aviation authority is examining the idea of gradually boosting international passenger flights into and out of the country with its counterparts in other countries. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said in a press conference that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the civil aviation authority has taken scientific, targeted, and dynamic measures to essentially maintain regular flights with 54 countries while effectively preventing cross-border virus transmission.
