The growth rate of Europe’s high-net-worth population and its wealth outpaced Asia in 2021 for the first time in over a decade, while North America remains top in wealth creation, according to the latest wealth report by Capgemini, a Paris-headquartered technology and consulting firm. The high-net-worth population––those who have at least US$1 million in investable assets—increased 4.2% in Asia-Pacific from the prior year ago to 7.2 million.
