The Beijing government will require other people living or working in Chaoyang, the city’s main business district, to undergo three COVID-19 tests this week starting Monday, after the local government sounded the alarm that the virus had spread undetected in the Chinese capital for a week. According to China’s National Health Commission, 19 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Beijing on Monday, of which they are asymptomatic.
