Chinese video game streaming site Huya has started laying off staff, three sources near the matter said, as a greater amount of the country's technology organizations downsize after a bruising regulatory crackdown. Huya, which is constrained by Tencent Holdings and was once important for a plan the Chinese gaming giant needed to make China's response to U.S. platform Twitch, means to cut many staff, said the sources, who declined to be named because they are not allowed to speak the media.
