Shenzhen reported zero daily symptomatic COVID-19 infections while Guangzhou saw a decrease in the number of cases for the second consecutive day. The city of Shenzhen continues to see a large number of cases imported from Hong Kong, accounting for 19 of the 21. The remaining two imported cases both came from Japan. In Guangzhou, there were 14 symptomatic and six asymptomatic cases. Three of the symptomatic cases were upgraded from patients previously diagnosed as asymptomatic.
