As confined Shanghai struggles in near health chaos, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health confirmed on Sunday April 17 14,660 new cases of Covid-19 in 61 cities and provinces, bringing the number of cases in the current wave to more than 10.43 million. The three localities with the highest number of new cases are Hanoi (1,253 cases), Yen Bai province (801 cases) and Quảng Ninh province (778 cases).
