China’s latest COVID-19 outbreak is likely to spread more and more, health officials said Sunday. Authorities urged all regions to increase surveillance and called for reductions in cross-state travel. China primarily contains the virus, but is determined to eradicate sporadic outbreaks, especially in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics in February. Last week, more than 100 cases of community outbreaks were identified in 11 states, most of which are associated with 13 different tour groups.
