SINGAPORE: US exporter Venture Global LNG has signed two 20-year deals with China's state-owned Sinopec to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Plaquemines plant, according to a document posted on the country's department of energy website. This brings the plant in Lousiana, with an export capacity of up to 20 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), one step closer to making a final investment decision which is expected by the end of this year. For China - which has this year overtaken Japan as the world's top LNG buyer - the deals will be its single largest LNG trade agreement...
