Baidu to build 5G smart driving project in Chengdu 08:21 CET | News Baidu said its Baidu Apollo has jointly won a bid to construct a 5G intelligent driving project in Chengdu in a tender worth CNY 105 million (USD 16.1 million). The project is the first of its kind in Sichuan Province. Baidu and the Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone started a strategic cooperation in 24 June to bring the project home. No mention was made of other partners.
