Built in Ming architectural style on an area of 32 acres, the temple has several halls and courtyards extending from the main gate to the central portion. There is a pond with several fountains which can be reached by crossing three stone bridges from the main gateway. At the gate, two horses referred to in the legend welcome visitors. However, they are coloured green. Numerous signs and display boards guide pilgrims inside the temple, following which they can reach the various halls.
