The US believes the Chinese consulate in San Francisco is sheltering a military researcher who lied about her affiliation with the Chinese military. Juan Tang, who worked at the University of California, Davis, is being investigated by the FBI for visa fraud after allegedly falsely claiming on her application that she had not served in the Chinese military, according to court filings.
