A nucleic acid testing machine designed by the Deep Blue Technology (Shanghai) Company, a fast-growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) leader, has stood out among all competing medical equipment in the Artificial Intelligence World Innovations Competition during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2020. Besides testing whether a subject is positive or negative, the gene sequencing machine can also identify sample pathogen species and concentrations, as well as track virus mutation status. More importantly, combined with AI and three-generation sequencing technology, the portable machine will greatly improve the speed and accuracy of virus detection with no limitation to testing sites.
