Shiseido Advances Hair Regeneration Push in China through Hainan Medical Zone

Shiseido China has reached a strategic cooperation intent with Hainan Qiyan Stem Cell Anti-Aging Hospital, a medical institution in the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone. The companies plan to jointly assess the introduction of hair-regeneration medical technology based on autologous dermal sheath cup cells, known as DSC cells. The proposed collaboration is aimed at advancing regulatory applications, clinical filing procedures and the creation of a local operating system.
