Nuvei Obtains License to Offer Local Payment Services in South Africa

Nuvei is expanding its Every Payment Everywhere strategy by entering one of Africa’s largest digital commerce markets, extending its local acquiring infrastructure to cover 52 markets. Based in Montreal, the global fintech company Nuvei is dedicated to building the infrastructure that supports payments worldwide. The company announced today that it has been authorized by the Payments Association of South Africa (PASA) to provide local merchant payment services in South Africa, further enhancing its ability to serve international brands and local businesses through its global payment platform.
