Park Jeong-seong, South Korea’s Trade Minister for Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, has formally requested that the United States honor the “15% tariff agreement” between the two countries. The move reaffirms Seoul’s commitment to ensuring implementation of the investment and tariff reduction package the two sides pledged in November last year.
