Merck, a pharmaceutical company based in Kenilworth, New Jersey, announced that its PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab subcutaneous injection has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China. The approval covers 19 solid tumor indications, making it the first and currently only approved subcutaneous injection form of a PD-1 inhibitor in China.
