Srinagar, Sep 15: The United States has, for the first time, acknowledged deploying space weapons in Earth’s orbit, with US Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink saying the weapon was necessary to safeguard US forces against hostile enemy action, according to a report by the BBC.
