US stocks were lower on Thursday, with the Russell and Dow underperforming; the latter was weighed by Walmart (WMT), which slumped following its earnings report and weak guidance. Indices closed lower across the board with negative breadth, as the equal-weight S&P 500 (RSP) fell around 0.7%. Sectors were also predominantly lower, with Health Care, Consumer Staples and Consumer Discretionary lagging.
