Shares of the South Korean memory-chip maker fell as much as 13% by 12:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday after it reported record second-quarter earnings that fell short of analysts’ forecasts. SK Hynix posted revenue of 79.3 trillion South Korean won, or about $54.6 billion, up 257% from a year earlier.
