Immigrant overcomes hardships, graduates from Pittsburg’s Los Medanos

When Shwe Yee Thinn graduated in March 2020 from high school in Myanmar, she expected to continue her education. Instead, the global COVID-19 pandemic followed by a military coup put her academic future on hold for three years.
