China’s Tianwen-2 Mission Aims to Unlock Mysteries of Quasi-Moon Kamo’oalewa

The China National Space Administration’s Tianwen-2 probe has successfully rendezvoused with the asteroid Kamo’oalewa, a quasi-satellite of Earth. After a 400-day journey covering a billion kilometers, the probe captured the first-ever images of Kamo’oalewa from a distance of 20 kilometers.
