Eleven Chinese companies have proposed to invest a total of USD 9.21 billion in Bangladesh. The CEOs of these companies met with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in Beijing on June 25. The Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, Ashik Chowdhury, also attended the meeting and emphasized the stability in the country under the newly elected government.
