The Union Government has announced that the anti-dumping duty on aluminum foil imports from China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia will be extended till December 15. The Finance Ministry, in its amended notification No. 51/2021-Customs (ADD), dated September 16, 2021, added a new clause stating that the anti-dumping duty will remain in effect until December 15, regardless of anything stated in the previous notification.
