The Detroit Tigers have reinstated second baseman Gleyber Torres from the injured list. He’ll lead off for the Tigers on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Torres takes the roster spot of Hao-Yu Lee, who was optioned to Triple-A Toledo. Torres, been out since suffering an oblique strain while diving headfirst toward home on a play at the plate on May 2. Torres, 29, accepted a $22 million qualifying offer last November to return to the Tigers for a second season. He is hitting .259 with a .717 OPS in 144 plate appearances in 2026. He has 25 walks…
