India, China Hold ‘Constructive’ And ‘Forward-Looking’ Talks On Eastern Ladakh Border Situation

The latest round of talks comes as both countries continue efforts to rebuild relations strained by the military standoff in eastern Ladakh that lasted for more than four years. India and China held fresh diplomatic talks in Beijing on Thursday and reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, with both sides expressing satisfaction over the continued peace in border areas. The meeting took place under the framework of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on India-China border affairs.
