Chinese Rocket Startup Raises $1 Billion in 15 Months to Build ‘Space Android’

Beijing-based aerospace company Yushixuan completed a $500 million Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $1 billion in just 15 months. The funding, led by Kunlun Capital and Gaorong Capital, will be used for rocket assembly testing, ‘chopsticks’ recovery technology validation, rocket production capacity, and team expansion to support the upcoming maiden flight of the AS-1 rocket in the first half of 2027.
