Zeng Yuqun, the chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), is making a strategic move in the AI arena by acquiring a significant stake in Century Huatong. Through affiliated company PJ Millennium, Zeng is set to purchase up to approximately 650 million shares of Class A common stock from Century Huatong, a leading player in data center operations with over 50 facilities and a strong foothold in AI technology.
