China solidified its position as the top global investment destination for Beijing by pouring $6.1 billion into Brazil last year, according to a report by the China-Brazil Business Council (CBBC). This investment came through a record 52 projects, marking a significant 45% increase in value compared to the previous year. In contrast, the total foreign investment into Brazil only saw a 4.8% rise, highlighting the substantial preference for Brazilian investments by Chinese entities.
