China has expressed its readiness to collaborate with African nations to address the fallout from the ongoing Middle East conflict, President Xi Jinping announced during discussions with Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo in Beijing. State media quoted Xi as highlighting the adverse effects the conflict’s spillover is having on African countries. He reiterated China’s commitment to working with these nations to promote peace and pursue development. Xi also urged China and Africa to collectively demand a ceasefire to halt hostilities and called on the international community to support genuine multilateralism, CCTV reported.
