?China’s commerce ?ministry said it ?submitted comments ?to the European Commission on ?the EU’s proposed revisions to the Cybersecurity Act and pledged to take countermeasures ?if the bloc insists ?on turning the draft revisions into law. The ministry said in a statement ?issued ?on ?Monday that the draft revisions would “cause substantial ?harm to China-EU economic and trade relations.” In ?comments submitted to the European ?Commission on Friday, the ministry suggested ?it ?remove provisions related to “countries of cybersecurity concern” and “non-technical ?risks,” and remove or modify the criteria ?for ?identifying “high-risk suppliers” and related “restrictive measures”, the statement said….
