By Paul Vieira OTTAWA — Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Friday that President Trump considers the present U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade treaty to be a poor deal that needs to be “reconsidered and reimagined.” Speaking at a conference organized by media outlet Semafor, Lutnick also harshly criticized Canada’s approach to the trade strategy with Washington, and efforts by Prime Minister Mark Carney to rekindle trade ties with China. “They suck,” Lutnick said.
