StepFun, a Chinese artificial intelligence company, is reportedly dismantling its offshore registration structure to pave the way for its planned Hong Kong IPO. StepFun, founded by former Microsoft vice president Jiang Daxin in April 2023, has completed multiple rounds of financing since its establishment. The company, headquartered in Shanghai, has now renamed itself as “Shanghai StepFun Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.” It is chaired by Qian Yin, Chairman of Qianli Technology, and its founders and CEO Jiang Daxin serve as directors.
