More fresh grads needed to buoy Singapore’s key maritime industry, says maritime foundation boss

SINGAPORE – Singapore is one of the world’s top maritime hubs, but it needs fresh talent to stay afloat and ride the waves of change as data analytics and decarbonisation become increasingly important to the sector. Yet, recruitment for the industry is a challenge, something Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) chairman Hor Weng Yew is all too aware of.
