US burning through years’ worth of critical weapons stockpiles in Iran

The United States went into war with Iran with full force, unleashing some of its most advanced and expensive weapons. In the first 16 days of the conflict the US burnt through 11,294 munitions at a cost of about $US26 billion ($38 billion), according to estimates from the Payne Institute for Public Policy.
